Favorite ways to use Digestion Rescue:
Topical- We use diluted and massage over stomach, feet or vitaflex points for stomach and intestines. It may be used over navel and behind ears up to one hour before traveling and as needed for motion sicknesses.
Dietary- While we have found it helpful take one or two drops diluted internally at the first sign of a stomach that “feels off”, it has rescued a few of us on the way to the toilet with in seconds or minutes of topical application. Use internally with the advice of your certified aromatherapist or natural doctor.
Aromatic/Inhalation: Suitable for diffusing or inhalation.
Use with a nasal inhaler…great for traveling, motion sickness, etc.
Dilute and put in a roll on bottle for easy grab and go.It is our favorite way to use for motion sickness while traveling. We also find that it is the fastest way to have it accessible when queasiness hits unexpectantly.
Dilute a few drops with carrier oil in a capsule and take internally.
Tummy Calm in a dropper bottle. This recipe incorporates some of the best digestion aids combined in a no mess ready to use dropper bottle you can have made ahead of time. We use 1-3 dropperfuls depending on the age of the person in need.
Tummy Calm Recipe:
1-3% Digestion Rescue
1-3% Peppermint (optional)
½-1 tsp activated charcoal for every 2 oz dropper bottle.
Fill remainder of the dropper bottle with glycerin and water to taste.
Cats- Kitty Raindrop Technique, add to unscented litter box, petting. Use diluted. Start with a very small amount when oral use is necessary (starting with a toothpick dip.) There are deworming protocols which we will not seek to cover here.
Dogs- Raindrop Technique, add to foods or water, petting, oral use. Use diluted. Use appropriate amounts for size of dog. It is suggested to start with 1 drop/20 pounds of body weight but up to 10 drops/20 pounds of body weight is acceptable. It may be given 1--3 times/day depending on response of animal and what you are addressing. More is not necessarily better. (Shelton)
Horses- 1 drop/100 pounds of body weight 2x/day is the recommended starting point for oral use. A colicky horse may require topical and oral use as often as every 20 minutes.
Digestion Rescue may help eliminate parasites from your pet. Massage diluted to paws (dogs).
Add to food or water.
Add to unscented litter box.
Use while petting your pet.
