Healthy Coffee Recipes

A healthy cup of brew starts with the bean. A mold free, bug free, freshly roasted (2-7 days from roasting) bean ground right before brewing is optimal. We have four varieties for you to choose from. We are currently offering two dark roasts, one medium-light and one naturally water processed decaf.

How you choose to fix your coffee can be as diverse as your personality or your drive for the day. Here are some of our favorites!

Classic Collagen

Collagen and good fats are a great way to move forward in healing your gut. The fats help level out the caffeine and keep you from crashing. If you are not too sure about adding butter but you love cream, I think you will be surprised at how complimentary it is.

1 cup of freshly brewed coffee

1/2 T butter

1/2 T MCT oil or coconut oil

1/2 scoop collagen powder

4-5 drops CBD (optional)

Keto creamer, sweetener and/or cream to taste

Blend in a blender and serve!

Chaga Blend

This can require a little bit of prep but the adaptogen power of chaga that has historically been used for centuries to support the body is worth it. With a little bit of planning ahead, you can have several days of chaga ready at once. Brew chaga the night before by adding several chunks to the desired amount of water. Boil for 30 minutes, let steep for thirty minutes minimum. I just leave mine overnight and reheat it quick in the morning while the coffee is brewing so that it does not cool my cup down too much. Caffeine is often used as an activator for herbs in some blends and so I imagine in my head that the coffee supercharges the chaga.

1/2 a cup of chaga

1/2 cup of coffee

4-5 drops CBD (optional)

Cream and sweetener if desired. It is that EASY!

Ginger Snap

Ginger and turmeric are anti inflammatory herbs that benefit the body from head to toe. It is good for the gut, pain relieving, binds with mucous and supports the immune system.

1 cup of freshly brewed coffee

2-3 T of Coconut milk creamer or coconut cream ( or to taste)

2 pinches each of Ginger and turmeric powder to taste

Sweetener to taste (maple syrup is my fav here!)

Marshmallow Delight

As I prepared my coffee recently, I realized I was out of collagen and thought to myself, "Self, there is collagen in marshmallows and marshmallows are good in hot chocolate...why not coffee?" It turned out to be a successful treat! I blend my almost dairy free coffee on high to make it feel more creamy. It is worth the extra effort! I am particular about eating healthy marshmallows and this brand pictured is my absolute fav.

2-4 marshmallows

1/2 T grass fed butter

half a cup of brewed hot coffee

half a cup of hot chaga tea

(or you can use all coffee)

Blend it on high and enjoy immediately!
